Halosydne Part Three
(9 September, San Diego Zoo, San Diego 8:00 PM PST)
The members of Young Justice untied the guards as Lorena and Mera escaped out of a security door. Their escape was somewhat awkward; Lorena did not know what to say to the Queen of Atlantis. Aquaman had long been a champion of San Diego; he even helped Mayor Carl Durham defend the city when Black Manta tried submerged the city with a massive manmade tidal wave. Lorena always found it hard to believe that more superheroes were not unmarried. She could never see herself putting up with husband having to leave at the drop of a hat, putting their lives in perpetual

Harley Not Harleen Ch. 4
Harleen hurried to Joan's office. This time, she knocked, and a moment later, her mentor opened the door.

Ok, to tie into my poll (go vote on it if you're reading this), here is three first pages as a kind of pitch for a potential comicbook series, using a potential collection of DC Comics underused or forgotten characters. I have concepts for some, and this was my one for the villainess-turned-heroine Livewire: to pitch it in one line, imagine the old 80's tv show Midnight Caller with superpowers... Leslie Willis, apparently reformed and on parole from her time as the bad gal Livewire, is back working talk radio in a graveyard slot, trying to keep on the right side of the parole board and manage the more distressing aspects of life as a woman able to absorb, manipulate and discharge deadly electricity. Can she stay on the straight and narrow, or perhaps can she use her powers for good... even though it might get her put right back in prison?
Livewire was created by Bruce Timm, and is the respected Copyright of DC Comics.
